Funny Story

I had to share this funny story. The other day Luke went with Greg to help fix our neighbor's sprinkler. As soon as they got there, Luke of course had to poop. So, he went in their house and everything was fine. Greg was ready to leave but Luke wanted to stay and play with their little boy. So Luke stayed and Greg said he would be back in a while to pick him up. Well, as soon as Greg got home the dad called and said they were having an issue with Luke. Of course, Greg thought he was hurt or something. The dad said Luke kept saying he was "starting" something. He kept saying it over and over. Greg asked him if Luke said he "sharted" and then the dad just started laughing. For those of you who don't know (because I didn't until Greg informed me) that "sharting" is when you fart and a little **** comes with it. I am glad that Greg is teaching my son such wonderful things!!! I couldn't help but laugh and luckily the neighbors thought it was pretty funny as well. It is amazing what kids pick up on!!

My Attempt At Photography

I have never been good at taking pictures, but I thought I would try it. I wanted some newborn pictures of Cohen, but didn't want to spend a lot of money doing it. So, I decided to try taking them myself. I borrowed my mom's camera and this is what I came up with. Clearly the pictures are not professional or perfect, but it is the best that I could do with my lack of talent. I can't believe how much Cohen has changed in the past 5 weeks.

I May Be Crazy

In the past I have never been into running or races. I loved playing soccer, but was never interested in running. Well, times have changed. I started running after Luke was born and now I am addicted. I loved running on my own, but never thought of doing any races. Well, I signed up for the Top of Utah Half Marathon this morning, and now I am having some feelings of anxiety (and regret??). I never thought I would attempt a marathon, let alone a half marathon. But who knows, depending on how this race goes, I may try for a marathon (yikes!). Luckily, I have until Aug. 29th. I have talked my sister into doing it with me, so I am not alone. I am not racing to win, but for the experience (hopefully a good one). Wish us luck!!!
